Hello December...
And there you have it people..The last month in 2013...
December is always heralded with trepidation, anxiety, the rush to do stuff before the curtain calls on the year...But should it be so?
I admit I am one of those people who just loves to agonize about how things didn't add up...
This  month I am very calm...I have a lot to be very thankful for...
So much I think I want but so much I also know I have...
I did pull out my list though...The one I wrote begrudgingly at the start of the year...
I did good, I mean I can give myself a pass mark...
I think I would have done better if I had gone to the list daily...like seen it daily...
(The list is written in the notes section of my Ipad...and I never really go there)
So I am building up a mood board for the year ahead...
I shall have clips, pictures, ideas, notes, knickknacks of all the things I would love to get done in the year ahead...Places I want to visit, all sorts...according to my mood and then run with it...
To have it up and visualize it everyday is a powerful way to get the mind to conceive it...

Let me be one of the first people to wish you all a Merry Christmas and the start of the holiday season...May all your deepest expectations for the year be met in the month ahead...
I am excited about the month...and it has started with a bang...and we all know how fun packed December gets...
How much work is ever really achieved in December sef...
All I seem to be hearing is corporate gift items, hampers, and all....
Oh well...

So let me share a funny snippet before I leave this post....
Yesterday saw me make my way to the mainland to do a few things...
Pick up my passport ....No drama at VFS, a mere few minutes and I was out...
Then meetings in Ilupeju...
Making our way down one of the service lanes in mild traffic and the driver says...Ah madam...ah these people are on the road o....
PS - He is not my driver, I drive myself except when it is official...as the meetings were....
Okay so I am reading an email on my phone and I say distractedly, which people Frank?
He says VIO ma...
So what is the problem Frank?
Madam I no get license o...
I was gobsmacked...Errrr no license how? How much of a conundrum is that?
A driver without a driver's license...please what is his job then???
He says madam abeg I am still renewing it and before I could blink he had jumped into the passengers seat...
So here is a car with no driver...me at the back seat, him in the passengers seat...
So this guy wanted me to drive past them since I have license yes?
...not just drive past them, I had to scamper to the front seat from the back because opening the door and getting out would alert the VIO officials...
Na real wa....
He was just lucky it was me he was driving....I find most things hilarious so no wahala...
I was just imagining some other colleagues....One would probably had bitch slapped him and handed him over to the VIO officials...
The roads were full of them by the way....Christmas is here and they need to make some good money i suppose...
Well enjoy your day ahead everyone and catch up soonest...

xx
